YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD.
According to the latest census, Fulton Place consists of approximately 950 households, most of which are single detached homes (built in the mid- to late-1950s and early 1960s) plus a handful of duplexes and condominiums. Many of the homes were built by reputable builders such as Golden, Fekete, and Maclab and are known for their enduring quality.
Fulton Place is home to a large population of seniors, many of whom have spent most of their lives building this community. At the same time, there has been a noticeable increase in young families moving to the area, with roughly 250 children aged 12 and under at the present time.
In addition to the school, recreation centres and churches located inside the neighbourhood (seeAmenities map), Capilano Mall, restaurants, banks, and a number of small businesses are located nearby, many of which are within walking distance.
By car, the Dawson Bridge provides quick access to downtown, and the inner ring road is easily accessed via 75 Street and Wayne Gretzky Drive. 101 Avenue provides a direct link to Sherwood Park and Anthony Henday Drive.
Edmonton's excellent river valley trail system is easily accessible -- from 65 Street, simply cross 106 Avenue and follow Hardisty Drive west until the bend in the road, where you will see the paved trail to your left. Get on it and go anywhere! (see trail maps and bicycle map).
